My Life after Graduation

It's please to meet you here in this place to share my life experiences recent monthes. and i have to say my life after graduating from the campus was terrible enough to kill myself!

first of all, according to the constitution in republic of China i need to serve the army when 20, or else, after graduation from the campus and making no choice to apply to a graduate school for more education. however, serving the army may not sound like a bad idea, after all, that is a chance for me to offer some contributions to my country but in fact if you do some reasearches to this and you're gonna find out what on earth those contributions really are.

some people may want to train themselves during the time of serving the army both in mental trainning and physical excersices. because most students in the campus today are not enthusiastic in self-trainning comparing to the ones in 1950's. therefore serving the army seems like a better way to push them to make this into progress. but unfortunately, there were not as much chances as they expected in the local units. so some of them were picked up to the general command headquarters, for some, that was a good news, but for the others it wasn't.

and when we went to the central unit we discovered that the whole systems were terrible,

And undoubtedly, that is why my life has been mentioned terrible.most people i met in the army were "so-bad", which means

thank for the critical comment that you gave, my dear classmate

I read ur comment for our project for the midterm, and I strongly believed that u are right about some our disadvantages in the project. Well, I have to say thank u and I will fix it up just for you kind evaluation. But something that u may want to know is that it seems u misunderstood our online chat system. I couldn’t say that we are perfect by using this method to evaluate students’ speaking abilities, but according to ur lovely critical evaluation, it looks like you haven’t used yahoo chat software to chat online, have you? Well, it’ll be my honor to tell u that I’ve done it since I was 19. Yahoo messenger is well designed in the text chatting, but not the sound transferring. By the way, u would understand more about it if u have ever used Skype in fact. The reason why we use this method to teach and evaluate students only because we do really want to help those students who are “afraid to talk in front of people” and for those who are “weak in speaking English”. We do it because of one general idea, we want to help them become more confident while talking English. If you doubt that the Skype is as worse as Yahoo, I suggest u may like to download it and see what is going on. That way, u will understand what I’m talking about. Furthermore, u mentioned that the accounts of learners in Skype are supposed to be decided by themselves. Well, u’re right, but if u did listen to our presentation “carefully”, and u may probably know that we didn’t say that the learners cannot be allowed to have their own accounts to chat with us. There is only one thing they need to do is to add me as their friend. Actually I am not that kindda person who loves to talk the same thing twice, but as u are my honorable classmate, it is my pleasure to explain the same thing to u again while u missed our presentation in the class. Oops, I have to say thank u for not using this online chat idea for ur own group or we can not finish this midterm project. Next time if u have some new ideas, u’d better use them or u may lose some advantages only because u don’t understand those specific information. Anyway, thanks for not using “OUR” idea, I represent all my members to appreciate ur kindness. Oh, this may be the most terrible thing that we are supposed to be aware. The time limitation! Well…this may be the most important part of ur comment toward our presentation and I will truly remember it and tell myself not to let the time goes over again next time. Finally, I hope u can find a best way to learn English in the future!!

Reflection

Web Page Evaluation

First I would like to emphasize that there are so many information on the internet which mention about how to evaluation web pages, and some of them are quite useful for us who study in the campus. We have already learned how to evaluate a web site from professor Huang in the Internet English subject, and now I would like to talk about some other elements when evaluating web sites.
In strategies part, I seek to adapt traditional information evaluation techniques to the Internet environment. I do it by emphasizing the overall nature of information on the Internet and how that information makes it online. And then I can compare a traditional process of finding and evaluating information in an off-line environment to the same process in an online environment, in order to help shape new mental models of understanding. For instance, you might first describe a traditional print publication process: Research starts out as a lab report, evolving into a conference paper, eventually into an article in a peer-reviewed journal that is subsequently cited in an index to be accessed for public dissemination. In this sense, information on the Internet is comparable to that found on grocery store bulletin boards or in hobbyist association meetings. It may be important, but it may not be reliable or authoritative. By both contrasting and comparing, we are reinforcing the concept of unfiltered information and the need for evaluation.
Some we knew so far about web are quite old fashioned already, but somehow it could be more important if we have an idea to enhance the web concepts we had become a new general thinking. In this case, I feel like stressing on the point which is about compare the information. Why is it important to evaluate information? This may seem a rhetorical question for anyone who uses the Internet for serious research, but it is important to emphasize the uneven quality of information on the Internet. Web is a station offers us latest news and information, and the internet is created under the central idea. Therefore, it’s obviously significant to emphasize this point when creating a web site.
At the end of the reflection, I assume that I did learn some knowledge when making a web site evaluation. Recently, the internet is blooming as fast as times go by. It would be our advantage to have such a skill to evaluate the web, and also, we may not establish a successful web page without knowing how to make a good web page evaluation. At the meantime, we could both probably start a business to help people to set a web site and to have a class to teach people how to analyze the elements when observing the internet in the future days. And probably that could be another chance for AFL students while the day we search for a job.

About my web

First I wan to say that I’m not way too satisfied with my page so far. There are not enough links and special features added in this page. Actually, I would like to post more wall papers and the information that you may interested in news and weather reports. Actually, I also want to establish a form for my resume too.
But no matter what, I am still proud of my favorite movie star Bruce Lee. And I wish I could add more information of him, but there is just not enough time to do that. By the way, I failed in the hyperlink which can trace back to the main page for users. as to the learning philosophy, I tell the truth. Although I don’t like to study, I still have some opinion to my statements. For some of you may not like the way I face to the world, but that’s me. Different people make the world differently, right? In my page, I provide all users free download right to download the pictures of Bruce Lee. For those who love Bruce Lee, this may be the advantage of my web page.

The Resource to boost students' English Ability on the Internet

i compared the two different websites that teacher offers us, i found that one is optional questions, and the other is that you need to fill the missing words to those some specific blanks. by doing this exercise, we can know how we improve in english ability. and what's more is we can learn from those practices by reading the corrected answers when we making mistakes. Furthermore, we can use the hint function to answer the question when we couldn't answer the difficult problems, stimulating us to do the harder challenges.
